During this time of working from home and social distancing, we are releasing Aftershows from the past on Fridays for everyone’s enjoyment. 602: #ColonGoals Aftershow Set your time pieces, machines, zones, and the rest back to May of 1995 for a review game where Greg and Phil try to guess the name of games being described by review crew reviews in Electronic Gaming Monthly Issue #70. And along the way we talk a little bit about the games and ads from back in the day. You, dear listener and podcast patron, can play along as they attempt to figure out these games. CAN YOU DO BETTER THAN THEY CAN? |

During this time of working from home and social distancing, we are releasing Aftershows from the past on Fridays for everyone’s enjoyment. 601: Swarm of Bees in a Rubber Man-Suit Aftershow Wind those time circuits back to November 2000 for this little guessing game using reviews (with titles and publisher names blanked out) from Die Hard Game Fan magazine. This game gets...a little weird. Then! We venture into the time CJ got called out in Game Fan just in time - as this was the penultimate issue of that print magazine. Was CJ right about unlimited continues? Was ECM right? I think we all know CJ was right. |

During this time of working from home and social distancing, we are releasing Aftershows from the past on Fridays for everyone’s enjoyment. 598: Nice Expletive Model Aftershow In this week’s Aftershow, we’ve got a review quiz featuring games covered in the September 1995 issue of Game Fan magazine. This issue is infamous for a reason - because of a “printing error” (also known as dummy text that was not replaced with the correct content before going out) it was pulled from shelves. Test your knowledge of games from the mid-90s along with the quiz and see if you can outdo Greg and Phil.
